Privacy Policy

PIE LAND (the "Site") is a free game site you can use without an account. The Site does not collect your name or contact details. This page lists everything the Site handles.

1. Game save data

Game progress, settings, best scores and 🚀 Space Storage are saved only in your browser (local storage). This information is not sent to the Site's operator. It is deleted if you clear your browser data, so download a file with 💾 Full backup if you need it.

2. Hall of Fame (only if you choose)

If you post a score to the 🏆 Hall of Fame, the following is stored and shown to other visitors. If you don't post, nothing is stored.

• Public: nickname, message, score, extra details (e.g. survival time), time posted
• Your IP address is never saved with your entry. To stop rapid repeat posts, a value derived from it with a secret that changes every day is held for just 20 seconds and then deleted.

Only the top 100 scores per game are kept; others are deleted automatically. This data is stored on servers of Netlify, Inc. (USA), which hosts the Site. Please don't use your real name or contact details as a nickname. To have your entry removed, just tell us through the contact form.

3. Inquiries (Google Forms)

Inquiries are received through Google Forms (Google LLC, USA). Only what you enter — inquiry type, game, message and device/browser — is stored in the operator's Google account. We never ask for or automatically collect an email address, name or other contact details. If you choose to write contact details in your message, they're stored with it and used only to answer that message.

We use it only to look into bugs and improve the games, never for anything else, and never share it. Handled inquiries are deleted within one year. While using the form, Google's Privacy Policy also applies.

4. Visit statistics and ads (cookies)

To learn how the Site is used (which pages and games are viewed, rough region and device type), we use Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA). Google uses cookies to tell visits apart, but we receive nothing that identifies you, such as your name or contact details, and ad features (Google signals and ad personalization) are turned off. The statistics are used only to improve the Site. To opt out, use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or block cookies in your browser.

When Google AdSense ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings; see how Google uses information for details.

The score share buttons (KakaoTalk, X, Facebook, LINE) only connect to those services when you press them.

5. Contact

For questions or requests about your information (to see, correct or delete it), send them to the operator of PIE LAND through the contact form (choose “Other”; for a Hall of Fame entry, include the game, nickname and score). If you'd like to hear back, add how you'd like to be contacted in the message.
